If you’re trying to raise capital there are regulations set forth by the SEC to make sure everyone is conducting business ethically and in a way that can keep one accountable for their actions if fraud takes place. Regulation D Rule exemptions 504, 505 and 506 offer solid fundraising capabilities that can handle most investment needs. Companies typically hire a consulting firm to author these documents and within 30 days you’re off and running and talking to investors; that is, of course talking to investors while staying within the boundaries of Rule 502c which dictates the guidelines for solicitation which means no active promotion of the issuance of your securities.
This basically means that unless you have a bunch of millionaire friends, you’re no better off now than you were before the PPM was created. So, how does one raise capital in an environment which limits the promotion of your offering with such limitations? Easy, corporate publicity! You must have your timing right in order for this to work but here is basically what we do with our clients as we are writing their PPM and what you should do if you already have an Offering Memorandum written. First we make sure that they have a solid presence online, within their industry genre by getting them massive exposure virally using video, social and news bookmarks, press releases, unique article submission, image/photo marketing etc. This exposure is just for basic branding purposes and not advertising the investment opportunity.
This process will draw massive amounts of attention to their company while we use specifically researched tags that will cater to the internet user who is researching their industry and/or looking for this specific company’s position in the marketplace. The next thing that you’ll want to do is promote your company using traditional means such as radio, TV and articles written about your company and executives within the company. Now, these promotions are not ads, instead they are interviews and/or expert conversations where you’re being brought in to talk about your industry as a whole. This passive promotional technique will allow for multiple ‘plugs’ during the conversation that lead potential clients and investors to your doorstep.
If you don’t have a publicist you will need one and during your initial ramp up you’ll want to have a targeted, localized and national audience using a minimum of 5 promotional combinations, this is crucial! Lastly, you are going to want to start blogging like a maniac. Blog and respond to any and every industry specific blog you can find. It is crucial that you carve out your position as an authority in the marketplace to tower like a beacon to future customers and investors.
Now you are ready to start talking to investors. The publicity used above will usually deliver a powerful enough promotion that will yield a steady flow of clients and potential investors and once word gets out that you’re company is solid and that you are offering equity investment opportunities…well the fundraising trail get’s easier and easier. You may also want to consider using an ‘investor finder’ at this point. An ‘investor finder’ is an individual or company that has substantial accredited investor contacts and will introduce you to those contacts for a flat fee. They are not a market maker nor are they a broker dealer. They are typically a broker of sorts that holds minimal securities licenses yet packs a punch with their ability to set you up with active investing contacts.
Raising capital is actually extremely easy if you set your company up in a way that is conducive to investment.

Many people think that starting an internet business is difficult or complex. This is a myth. The truth is that you can get started as an affiliate by marketing the products of others. This is the best way to get started. There are many affiliates making over six figures each year using this model.
Affiliate marketing is a model based on making referral sales for other merchants. Each time you refer traffic to a merchant’s website and a visitor makes a purchase, you get a commission. The commission is automatically credited to your account.
The commissions will always vary from merchant to merchant. Some merchants will give six or seven percent while others are more generous. When you are prospecting for good affiliate programs, the commission percentage will be listed in the affiliate terms of agreement.
There are factors that affect affiliate conversion rates too. The type of quality of traffic that you drive to the merchant’s website plays a significant role. The more targeted the traffic is, the better the merchant’s offer will convert into a sale. Quality traffic is described as targeted traffic tightly related to the keyword that a visitor used to get to your website.
So how many companies have affiliate programs? It might surprise you to know that there are tens of thousands for every product, service and market. Some of the more popular networks have several thousand companies registered. The programs and services represented in these large networks are available from the biggest corporations in America.
If you want to get started in affiliate marketing, you will have to learn more about it. Just search for affiliate marketing courses, programs and guides in Google, Yahoo or MSN. There are plenty of sites online that have lots of free content on the subject of affiliate marketing. Ask around in the forums for recommendations.
After you sign up as an affiliate, you will be give a unique link embedded with your identification. This is the link that you will promote using PPC or pay per click traffic or through natural search engine traffic. The key is to create a landing page and direct website visitors to the merchant’s website.
Once you have established a website presence, you can start earning affiliate commissions very quickly. Start by promoting your website using paid search engine methods or look into SEO traffic generation. The more targeted visitors you can get, the more commissions you will make.

Experienced webmasters can without any difficulty setup a new website in minutes with one of their preferable hosting companies. Unskilled webmasters are often taken aback by the various web hosting plans, such as - affordable web hosting, Cheap Web hosting, ASP Web Hosting, Budget Hosting, Dedicated Servers, eCommerce Hosting, FrontPage Web Hosting, Hosting With Templates, Managed Web Hosting, PHP Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Shared Hosting, Unix / Linux Hosting, Virtual Private Servers, Windows Hosting and Co-location Hosting.
There’s really a few things to look at while choosing a web hosting plan, whether you create a hobby site, a small business site, or a high-traffic ecommerce site. In fact, all web hosting plans and technical words can be classified in terms of cost, programming languages, operation systems, Web servers and functionality.
Cost of web hosting is the first thing that many small site owners are searching for. Most of web hosting plans cost less than $10 a month. Reasonable web hosting, budget hosting, or cheap web hosting plans often cost less than $5 per month.
Programming Languages
Whether you plan to write your own scripts or install customized software packages, you want to choose the hosting plans that support the programming languages of your choice. The commonly used Web development languages contain PHP, ASP, JSP and PERL. The hosting plans that support those programming languages are referred to as PHP Web hosting, ASP Web hosting, JSP Web hosting or PERL Web hosting. Almost all hosting companies support PHP/MySQL, but only a fraction of them support ASP or JSP. For novices, PHP/MySQL is the choice for programming language.
Operating Systems
Once you’ve picked up the programming language(s) for your Web development, you still have freedom to pick up the operating system that hosts your Websites. Besides ASP which works only on Microsoft Windows, other programming languages, PHP, JSP and PERL, work on Windows, Unix and Linux. Hosting plans that support particular operating systems are referred to as Window Hosting, Unix Hosting or Linux hosting.
Servers
Apache is the most massively supported Web server in the Web hosting industry. One of the pleasant properties of Apache server is the ability of mod_rewrite to make dynamic URL look like static URL or SEO-friendly, among other things. ASP works only on Mirosoft Internet Information Server or IIS server. Weblogic or Websphere is needed for JSP hosting.
Performance
When webmasters are speaking about Web servers, they’re most interested in the server performance - Managed Web Hosting, Shared Hosting, Dedicated Servers, or Virtual Private Servers (VPS). Shared hosting is the most inexpensive plan, and you can host as many sites as you like with a Reseller Hosting option. VPS costs around $50 a month, and a Dedicated Server plan will cost from $50 - $100 or more a month dependent on storage space and bandwidth of the hosting plan.
A shared hosting plan is good enough for most of websites. If your website serves contain heavy audio/video files, or needs to repeatedly install customized software package, you’ll need a dedicated server. For example, a company that sells Computer Based Training (CBT) software online upgraded its hosting plan from a shared hosting to a dedicated hosting plan in the first six months of online operation as the company started to use video/audio support to boost online sales.
Online Transaction Support
Websites that accept payment online, require support of secure connection (HTTPS) and digital certification to direct online transaction safely. Another possibility of having your own online merchant account is to use a third party payment processor for payment process. Integration of PayPal shopping cart only takes about a few minutes without any necessity in competence of programming skills.
After all, choosing a web hosting plan that works for you isn’t that complex, even for the novices.

When starting a network marketing or small business using internet marketing, many people have limited experience or knowledge in the industry. This can lead to a few mistakes when applying the first internet marketing strategies. Those mistakes can not only cost money, but can also affect one’s confidence and motivation.
One common mistake is using pay per click marketing without adequate knowledge.
When you start marketing your business online, you are likely to use pay per click marketing as it is a very efficient strategy to generate traffic immediately. The problem is that the less you know and apply the right tactics with pay per click marketing, the more it will cost you! I’m not saying that you should become a theoretical pro before you start marketing your business, but you must learn as much as you can as early as you can. Using pay per click as an amateur can be damaging to your budget in 3 ways:
1. It will cost you more to be placed in a good position on the search engines
2. You may receive a lot of traffic, but only poor quality leads (quantity vs. quality)
3. Your ads may be performing poorly, and therefore you may have no traffic, no leads, and no income as a result.
When I first started using pay per click, I was pleased to see the amount of traffic I could generate for my website. My ads were ranked well on Google, my click through rates were always increasing, and a good percentage of visitors were opting-in and officially becoming a ‘lead’. HOWEVER, after an expensive month during which I generated more than 1000 clicks and more than 100 leads, I realised that I was talking to the wrong people. Many were indeed interested in learning about my business, products and opportunity, but most weren’t the serious determined entrepreneur-minded leads I was looking for! I did get some great leads through this process, but at the end of the day, it cost me more time, money and energy than it should have. Even worse, the people I was really looking for probably didn’t even see my ads.
Many resources are available to help you learn how to use pay per click effectively, how to secure your website rankings and how to generate quality leads by reaching the right market. The bottom line is, the less you learn about those principles and techniques, the more it will cost you and the less it will pay off.
Here is what I recommend when tackling pay per click marketing when you start advertising your business online:
1. Learn the basics on pay per click advertising. This is a must. Perry Marshall’s ‘Definitive Guide To Google Adwords’ is great for this as he provides a lot of knowledge on how to create your ads and evaluate your results.
2. Learn some basics on how to optimise your website - this will affect how your website is picked up and ranked by search engines. You will need to create your website’s content, title, description, keywords and links accordingly.
3. Continue learning step by step and applying new tactics. Again, get the basics before you do anything (it may be worth studying another week or two before you start to advertise), and then get into the more sophisticated stuff. Never leave your active campaigns fixed or worse, unattended. Test your ads and always analyse your results so that you can improve them. The internet is constantly changing and what works today may not work next month.
4. Identify your target audience. Write your ads to speak directly to them. Consider if your ads could be misleading or unclear - this is how you get the wrong people clicking on your ads (and pay for it). Ensure also that you continue to target your audience on your website; even though you have already paid for the click, you don’t want to waste your time calling the wrong prospects. By delivering the right message and information through the content on your website, people can pre-qualify themselves before signing in to your website and becoming an official lead.
5. Keep some statistics on your leads. How many were actually not looking for what you are offering? How many were not serious candidates? How many leads were high quality leads? How much did each lead cost you? Find out the pattern in your results and change your marketing campaigns accordingly.
6. Consider this: less traffic (especially the paid one) can be a good thing. You don’t want to waste money on bad leads. In terms of cost-effectiveness and getting results, traffic quality is better than traffic quantity. No more hit and miss.
7. Until you have sufficient knowledge to create campaigns that generate quality leads for yourself, consider using the services of an expert marketer. For example, you may be able to join a marketing cooperative within your company. However, be cautious about purchasing leads from a third party, as you may not know the origin, nature or quality of those leads.

If you have an online business you want to know how to make more money on the internet. We have the nice website but we need the traffic. So how do we get more traffic. We need leads. Without a consistent flow of leads your business will not grow. So have you tried Ezine article submission?
If you have been trying to make money online for months and still have nothing to show do not give up. Some people buy the marketing products and they do not work. Or they are getting so much information that they end up reading it all but not using any of it. In frustration they stop their business. You are not the first one to feel frustrated. We have all been there.
Whether you have a product you want to sell online to make money or if you have a product online you have a passion for. Getting traffic is tough. There are really only two ways to get leads, buy leads or you can earn leads.
You can buy traffic if you have the money to spend on advertising. The other way is you can earn traffic. What do have more of time or money?
Here is the question you have to ask yourself right now. Do you have more time than money or more money than time? If you have more money than time, you can simply buy ad space.
You can buy banner ads, use Google adwords, or rent an email list to mail your promotion to. But if you have more time than money then you want to use article marketing.
Everybody and their brother is talking about article marketing. The essence of article marketing is this you write an article that contains useful but incomplete information and that is what the article does. It provides useful information but it does not tell the whole story. And that creates curiosity so when people read your article they learn something they want to know about that topic so they go to your website.
Articles should be between three hundred and five hundred words. You can submit your articles to article submission sites. These sites make your article available to website publishers who take your article and post them online. You want to have your bio and a link to your website so people will go to your website and learn more about you. When they read the great information you provide in your article they will want more.
When they come to your website you will want to have an archive section of all your articles so that people can see that you are an expert in your field. Then if you have a product to sell you will be able to promote that product as an expert. Make sure to have a free newsletter or free promotion they can sign up for. This way you will be building your email list of people who visited your website. You do not want them to come and leave and not return. This the way to build your leads with ezine article submission.
Try to find high page rank sites to get backlinks from. http://spotback.com/users/arteddi12 Pay people to write articles for you and save the time. Automate most of the article process so you can market multiple sites.

Well written articles that are informative is one of the ways you are able to take advantage of free advertising on the internet. To get your services and products noticed and promoted by means of seo or article marketing has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to work for online businesses.
The main feature of your article, besides the body of text has to be the resource boxes. This features at the end of the article and it contains a link to yours and other websites. These are known as backlinks, and the purpose of the resource box is to provide information regarding the author and his business details. The purpose of article distribution is to increase the business credibility of the author and attract new prospects.
For virtually as long as mass press publishing has been around, article marketing has been used as a means for promotion of products or services. It has transitioned from print media to the internet very well and is proving to be successful for online businesses. What happens is that the author of the article provides the newspaper or other media with an informative free article and they publish it for free. The advantage happens because the writer of the article is allowed to publish their contact details at the end of the text.
A good example of this type of marketing would be an accounting firm who publishes tax tips before the tax season arrives. They would submit the article together with their contact details to publishers, for several weeks before it is time to complete your tax forms. The accounting company then receives free advertising space and the publisher receives useful editorial, or advertorial if you like.
Every business needs to have an online presence in this day and age, it offers the business owner a fair advantage. Online businesses have also become popular as they are cheap and simple to start-up and operate. Article marketing is a way to get your business or online business noticed and making sales is after all a way to make your business successful. E-commerce is the latest buzz-word and it works!
Article distribution for marketing purposes is a very wise way in which to get your products and services noticed online. It is sometimes referred to as “Bum marketing” and it means you are borrowing page ranks from highly rated websites or article directories. In effect you include two backlinks in your signature file (we referred to this earlier at a resource box). One which points to your website and another that points to the page you are attempting to rank for. This adds strong PR power to your website and this has long- term good effects.
There are a number of very popular and well recognized article directories which accept seo and UAW (unique article wizard) articles. But they do have to be well written and not self-serving or promotional. These include Ezine Articles, Article Dashboard, Squidoo, Buzzle, Aff Sphere and Hubpages to name a few.
The ideal thing to do would be to write one article a day and submit it to all of these publishers and any more you are able to find. This will mean that at the end of the year you have 365 posts linked to you website or blog. The more posts you have the more highly page ranked your website or blog will be with Google. Google is after all the most well respected search engine online and Google ranking is what really counts for any website.

There are many places where you can buy PLR articles. Some sites don’t supply very good articles but they can be used as a starting point for writing your own articles. Also many of these PLR sites have a high membership which means you will see the same articles being submitted time and time again to the article sites. Article directories frown upon this as they want every article submitted to be original and unique, if you submit an un-edited PLR article you risk getting your publisher account banned.
If you join an PLR article membership site, you should take some time to edit your articles by at least thirty percent, to ensure that there is plenty of unique content within your articles. That could be quite a time consuming exercise especially if you have 1,000 articles every month to edit or spin!
If you want your articles to be unique then you will need to change them, and if you are not able to do this yourself, then you should consider outsourcing your articles. This will add to the cost of buying the PLR articles, and you might want to consider buying unique articles, these unique articles will be more expensive than standard PLR articles but it may work out cheaper in the long run when you take into account the time it would take you to edit the non-unique PLR articles.
One of the main benefits of PLR articles is that someone else has spent the time researching the subject and then writing the articles, this research takes days and sometimes weeks so there is defiantly some time to be saved in that respect. Now there are many articles which are poorly written, and this is where you need to do your due diligence to ensure good quality articles, a bad article won’t have nearly the same impact on your audience as an intelligent, well written article.
If you decide to use private label rights articles then you will also need to decide how to use them. You could use those articles for part of your research on a topic or niche. You might also want to use them to write your brand new articles rather than rewriting them.
If you are rewriting an article then you will need to understand what the original article is trying to portray and then write it in your own words or add some new sections or paragraphs to the existing articles.. As you spend more time doing this, you will find it becomes easier and easier. Like with anything, the more practice you have the easier it becomes! The beauty of rewriting articles is that you can continue to use the same formula until you are satisfied with the end results.
One thing a lot of people forget is that the article needs to be interesting. Yes you want the search engine to index the article, you want the article directory to accept the article, but if people find it dull and boring then they will not end up on your website or clicking on your other articles. Use the article to tease them, let them know about the gems waiting for them on your site. Let them know that they will not be disappointed if they arrive at your site to learn more about the subject that interests them. However do make sure you don’t turn your article into a pitch fest for your website, try and find a happy medium between pitch-fest and an informative, entertaining article.

We all want to be able to finish writing our articles as fast as possible. Because there are so many other other things waiting for us to do like watching television, playing computer games, and just lazing around doing nothing. And our significant other will remind us that there are other things to be done like taking out the trash, mowing the lawn and painting the garage. So, to give you poor guys a helping hand, I have prepared a list of hints on how you can shorten your article writing time.
Think About Your Article First
If you don’t have to get the article done immediately, spend a few days before writing the article to think about how you want to write it and what you want to say. Just go about your daily life and think about your article when you have a few moments to spare. Have a notepad handy as you never know when good ideas will pop up, and they always seem to pop up at the oddest of times.
Set A Deadline
It is best that there is a deadline for finishing every project. Otherwise, you might find yourself continually fine tuning an already near perfect work. A deadline is a good way to tell you when to stop.
Practice, Practice, Practice
You didn’t know how to walk when you were very young. It took many hours of practice, practice and more practice. And when you have finished practicing, you practiced some more. And now not only can you walk, you can hop, skip, jump and even run. Writing articles is no different. Just keep practicing and you will get real good and will be able to write real fast.
Stop Being A Perfectionist
I just read about a company that spent 18 whole months working on their website because they wanted it to be perfect. At the end of the 18 months, the investors got tired of waiting and pulled the plug, so the website never went online. While not being perfect does not mean just dashing something off with no regard for quality, it also does not mean you have to spend countless hours tweaking every last sentence. Find a good balance.
Read Other Similar Articles
Try to get a good start by searching the web for articles in a similar vein to what you want to write. Read through a few to have a few ideas on how you can approach your article. It’s always much easier to have some examples than to start completely from scratch. And when you are ready to write, sit down and write an article that is totally you, and not bits and pieces borrowed from the articles that you read.
Conclusion
If you have trouble writing articles fast, the tips above will certainly help. I can recall a time when I would take days to complete just one article, and nowadays, I can finish one within one or two hours. And the tips above have certainly helped me to achieve this.

For anyone designing a new web site, search engine optimization is top of mind. Have you chosen a good niche for your website to focus on? Without the right focus, all of the SEO in the world wont help you drive traffic. Have you also considered a simple design that improve our chances of top search engine rankings?
Given the right kind of preparation, search engine optimization is easily accomplished. In order to develop a web site that meets your needs, you must consider the needs of search engine spiders and search engine optimization.
The beginning step is to build your web site in html and use cascading style sheets (CSS). Style sheets keeps your code to a minimum and helps to provide a consistent look across your website. The design of your site needs to be clean while providing easy to use navigation.
Web pages should always use their own unique meta tags. The key tags to be included are the title, description, and keywords tags. The keyword phrase you are optimizing for should be included within your meta tags as well as on the physical web page. Make sure that your style sheet includes your keyword phrase at the top and bottom of your webpages.
One simple way to apply this technique is by beginning your title tag with a keyword phrase. Additionally, include a copyright notice followed by your keyword phrase in a clean simple flow. One example is Copyright 2009. WebmastersBookofSecrets.com Marketing Expert. Marketing expert in this example is the keyword and is the last text on your page.
In addition to including your keyword at the beginning and end of your web page template, consider the following SEO design techniques. Include your keyword phrase in heading tags such as H1 and H2. Shoot for a keyword density of around 3 to 5 percent. Finally, be sure that your keyword phrase is in bold, italic, and underlined. Well optimized sites keep their word count between three and six hundred words.
Simple SEO design is incredibly effective for achieving top rankings. These techniques help to expose your keyword phrase to search engine spiders. Additionally, they make each web page simple to scan, read, and react to. Take advantage of simple SEO design and results will follow.

Would you like to spend more time with your family or commute every day to work only to find it pays just enough to keep you above the bread line. I doubt there are many people out there who haven’t at least once thought about how to make money on the Internet from home at some point. But how do you start and do you have enough knowledge to actually succeed. One thing you could do is to start your own home Internet marketing business, but how do you know it will work?
Have you already spent hours researching Internet marketing, paying out for some repetitive ebooks before taking the plunge and buying a domain name or two and then have started to promote it like a maniac. Usually you will have an initial flurry of activity on your site and you think you have made it only to find in a few days you are extremely fortunate to get one hit a day and not the hundreds you were perhaps hoping to get! Don’t let all you have found out go to waste.
If you have planned things correctly, you already have some good experience and are smart enough to know that you are always learning, then starting your own home Internet marketing business is especially a good idea for you and you probably already know what and how to go about it. So whats stopping you?
Many people will have gone into building an Internet business with enthusiasm in the belief it will be easy only to find it’s not and then give up and go back to the daily J.O.B. (just over broke) to make ends meet. As with a lot of things, this is when you really need to dig your heels in and just keep going.
Although there are some faster ways to do things on the Internet, unless you’ve found out the hard way over a few years of reading technical books or attending expensive courses, you could probably use some help. A “proper” online marketing course can be expensive, and you may wonder which one to go for without wasting you money. Let’s look at some of the freebies first though.
To start your home Internet Marketing Business there are a couple of good things to try. One of these is to find some good SEO forums to help you find good marketing techniques and learn from other’s experience. You will find that people on these forums are actually quite generous with their advice as long as you don’t go in guns blazing demanding info, at least be a bit humble!
If you are building an e-commerce site, look for forums that are centred on marketers who buy from wholesalers. If you want to drop-ship (you don’t need stock or money up front for this), look for drop-shipping forums. As already mentioned, you can find an awful lot of information out through these mediums. Likewise, if you want to try affiliate marketing (affiliates send traffic to sites and get commissions), there are forums for that as well.
The above are just a few tips on how to get information about your home Internet marketing business with regard to techniques. Another good source are some of the monthly subscription groups that also provide tools. If you havent found a reasonably priced and well recommended course on marketing, then look for a recommended one. Its all very well getting a fantastic site up, but without traffic, why bother!
