Marketing Set Up Guide
Ok, this is a guide of the things you need or could use depending on what type of products and marketing you intend to do online. This is from the same basic set up and layout that I use myself. Depending on how much you wish to accomplish will determine how much of this you will really use. Read through this list of accounts you will need and sign up for the ones that will benefit you.

General Tools & Services

This is an over view on basic tools, social sites, video sites, marketing sites, hosting, and much, much, more…
You will need to go to all of these site and at least check them out for yourself to begin forming you own opinion. That is what all smart marketers do is DON’T BUY HAPHAZARDLY!
Make sure its a right fit for where you are in your learning curve and marketing skill levels. If you think it is easy, well…
Its really fairly easy, you just have to actually set up a process and follow it, to the “T”. Other wise, you are probably going to waste a lot of time and money until it slaps you in the forehead and you realize how you have been screwing up this whole time.

So, just click on the name tags, after viewing the brief out from the site or service title. Take a few minutes out and check out what the service really is and figure out what you are going to need by the level of comitment you are comfortable with mixed with the amount of money you desire to make and sprinkle in a rock solid marketing budget, even at just $31 a month, make it count!
Auto Responders:
Aweber—this is the #1 auto responder on the market right now and has been for a long time. It uses a double op-tin format that eliminates the fake email addresses and such keeping you lists much cleaner and more responsive. Click here for Aweber
All in one Product:
Viral Prospector—this is a good all in one product that gives you lead capture pages, solid auto responders, Domains, and much more. Click Here For Viral Prospector
Hosting and Domains:
Go Daddy—this is a source of domains and hosting. Go Daddy is probably the most commonly used (Personally where I buy all my domains here)
Host Gator—this is a good hosting source for the cost, it is the one I personally use myself mainly because I prefer the C-Panel that they use. It is easier for me then Go Daddy’s and the support here is great form everything I have experienced. Trust me, without their support; I would not even have a website up right now. (Personally where I keep all my hosting)
Email accounts:
Google: You just flat out need a Google account!
Gmail—Google mail will allow you lots of flexibility and gives you an auto responder built into your email that you can set up filters for. I use this for the safe lists I belong to so that I can reverse market back to those sending me offers from the safe lists.
Ad words—this is your top PPC site on the internet. You really need to play around and get good information on this service before you start a campaign here. If you do not, it could cost you lots of big money. So, watch my tutorials in the paid members section and go through the information in ad words to get an understanding. Start with small campaigns and play it safe to get the feel of it before you invest lots of money into you PPC Campaign.
Ad sense—This is another good account on Google where you can set up an advertising campaign showing other people’s related ads on your websites, information built ad sense sites, and other pages like blogs and hubs.
Blogger—this is a pretty good free blog to get you feet wet with and also use it as a free hosting account to set up a webpage while you are getting started.

Affiliate sites:
Click Bank—this site is one of the top affiliate websites and is pretty easy for a newbie. They have lots of product and I still use this one as well as a few others. Click Bank is probably one of the most know affiliate promotion sites online. Click Here For Click Bank
Web 2.0:
Digg—this is a social bookmarking site that allows you to social bookmark you articles and such.

Hub Pages—this site is a strong web 2.0 site where you can write reviews and posts or hubs and use ad sense on your hubs to get paid as well as promote your business indirectly on this site. It also ranks very highly in Google searches. Click Here For Hub Pages
You Tube—this is probably the most used video site online and is key in video marketing success.

Twitter—this site is very powerful. This site allows you to post short posts that get out to many other members indirectly through people that have followers other then yourself that will see you posts to the people following you. It is also much more professional and more set up for business then Face Book and MySpace. Click Here For Twitter
Face Book—this site is the top of the social networking sites compared to MySpace because of the type of people that are on it and such. They also have a good responding PPC advertising option but, they are strict on the types of ads they allow. Click Here For Face Book
MySpace—this site is such a big web 2.0 site that you still need to have it. There are a lot more kids per say on here, but there are still a lot of people in a lot of groups. So you need to focus more on the groups here.
Adland Pro– This site is a social networking site for business and networking people to go to and it has rather responsive advertising results.
Direct Matches—this site is rather similar to Adland Pro and is another good source to meet more networking and business people.
Press Releases:
Free Press Release—this site is great tool to use as it is entirely free! You can pay $1 per Press Release and get a lot more submissions then the totally free, it is the way I personally use it. Click Here For Free Press Release.com
PR Log—this site is another good Press Release site that gets major traffic to you site. Click Here For PR Log
Article Marketing:
Go Articles—this site is a good article directory that drives massive traffic. Click Here For Go Articles
Ezine Articles—this site is the best online article directory to advertise on. Click Here For Ezine Articles
Safe lists and Solo ads:
Got Safe List—they have some good products for advertising here and have one of the most responsive solo ad lists online. The banners are good here and not there. I have had great months using the banner advertising here and months that was miserable. But the sponsor ads are good as well and I do get hits from the normal safe lists as well, but nothing like their solo ads. Click Here For Got Safe List
Top Surfer—this site is the most responsive Solo Ad List on the internet from all I can understand and find out. They get you sales. This is a must have if you are serious about marketing online. I will never get rid of my monthly membership here! Click Here For Top Surfer
Video and Audio Streaming:
BYO Audio—this site is one of the top video and audio streaming services online. I like it because you can use both services on the same account, the pricing is good and you can record you videos and upload them right on the site within minutes as well as upload your other recorded videos.
